Skaramacay is conceived as an Art Factory for the dissemination of culture. It includes artists of various ethnic origins and artistic backgrounds.

It aims at blending several forms of artistic expression, in order to reach a more direct and deep communication. The project SKARAMACAY seeks to develop new ideas in the art of contemporary dance, getting out of fixed schemes and diagrams, which might hamper imagination and creativity.

As a really innovative project, it has been highly successful in raising the awareness in several social issues, especially mafia, at national and international level.
